Running at the Sopot track today: track cameras, onboard cameras, live streaming, live timing, driver portal, start lights and pit stop control. Kart localization, speed measurement and the steering wheel displays are in testing. That’s exactly how they’re described — no “coming soon”, no dates we can’t keep.

The fight for time
They finished still 0.050 s off the best lap on paper
That’s what’s in their head when the helmet comes off. Not “good fun” — but where did I lose those hundredths? The system answers sector by sector. The track record fell on lap eighteen: 25.260, with the fastest first sector of the session. But the fastest second sector, 11.84, had already been set on lap seventeen.
Put the two together and you get 25.210. Nobody has driven that lap. That’s exactly why they come back.

You’re not racing a world champion. You’re racing yourself from twenty-five seconds ago, and that’s a race you can actually win. Below are two real laps from session #2 in Sopot: the seventeenth and the eighteenth.

What the driver sees
They leave with the film ready
The system spots the interesting moments on its own and cuts them into clips. The driver scans a code, reviews their shots and orders a multi-camera edit.
- Automatic highlights — a clip appears on its own, seconds after it happens on track.
- Session film — 90 or 30 seconds, landscape plus a 9:16 vertical for the phone.
- Multi-camera edit — shots from seven cameras cut into one story.

Anyone can buy the hardware. Nobody can buy last year’s footage
Any track in Europe can order cameras and timing. Nobody can order the history of your drivers: their times, their records, their films from a year ago. That has to be recorded at the time. Whichever track starts first becomes the place where that history began, and there’s no budget that buys the lost year back.
What we are building
RaceBoard ID is meant to carry a driver’s time, record and best-lap film from one visit to the next, at tracks running our system. Today it’s a direction on the roadmap, not a working product. That’s exactly how we describe it.
